Cipriano Duval, an Italian immigrant in Paris who works in a clinic, lives alone and dreams of becoming a musician or singer, but for now his audience are the cats that live in his apartment. His shot at fame comes from an unexpected place, when he becomes involved with a gangster who frames him for murder. One of the classic Italian comedies of the 1930s.
