Reese Witherspoon is Elle Woods, a sorority queen and the blonde of the title. When Elle is dumped by her boyfriend, she follows him to Harvard and enrolls in law school to try and get him back. Though she is snubbed by the vest-wearing Harvard students, they soon discover that she has more legal savvy than anyone would have imagined. With equal measures of self-love and self-awareness, this is an exceptional guilty pleasure, and in the two decades since its release, Elle Woods has become a role model and the film a classic that only gets better with each rewatch.
