Frankie Wallach is fascinated by her 94-year-old grandmother Julia, her personality, and her survival story in the camps. She wants to immortalize her as the heroine of a narrative film she is working on but doesn't take into account the rest of the family that loves to have a hand in all. Frankie Wallach's debut film is a dramatic family comedy that wisely treads between fiction and documentary and employs Julia's magnetic presence to portray a story about memory and how it passes from generation to generation.
