This series of photographs, taken during a period of quarantine and changes, invites a renewed engagement with the landscapes of the Land of Israel.
During a challenging year in which we advanced towards the unknown, the environment around us facilitated a sense of returning home to the known and familiar. The light, the shadows and the simple beauty that is close at hand took on a more intimate meaning.
In his works, Moshe Gold seeks to return to the nearby and familiar views of the Land of Israel, to be restored and to begin anew.
Opening: Thursday, June 3, 2021, 19:00.
The exhibit is open to the public daily, June 3rd-23rd, during the Jerusalem Cinematheque’s hours of operation.
